WE ARE RETIRED!!!
Thank you so much for visiting our website. It has been such a pleasure doing business with so many great people, but the time has finally come for us to retire, therefore we will no longer be hosting cruises on the Island Oasis. We apologize for any inconvenience, but insist you look to another company because cruising on the Delta is definitely worth every minute! We wish you all the best. ~Captain Wendy.

Reviews and Frequently Asked Questions
What you need to know before you relax and cruise....

What time does the cruise begin?
Please show up 15 minutes before your schedule departure. Guest boarding begins approximately 10 minutes before departure. A typical cruise begins with a safety briefing after all passengers are boarded. This includes location of life jackets, where to walk on the boat, and location of the bathrooms.
Where are you located?
Island Oasis Yacht is located at the AAA Dock at
Village West Marina in Stockton, CA
Address: 6649 Embarcadero Dr, Stockton, CA 95219
Where do we meet?
You have a couple options... You can either make the first part of your trip a stop at Garlic Brothers or Bobs and enjoy and drink and appetizer or meal. Or, there are some wonderful picnic tables out in the lawn behind the parking lot of Village West Marina. You can enjoy the willow trees and we can meet up here.
How many passengers can you accommodate?
Island Oasis will have a maximum capacity of six passengers and 2 to 4 crew. This provides for a professional and private luxury cruise. Exactly what we aim to attain at Island Oasis.
The maximum capacity of Island Oasis is 12 passengers (including infants), plus captain and crew, if we apply for the appropriate license. Of course many costs are associated with this commercial level of licensing, including approx. $22,000 in upgrades to the stainless steel railing (or hanging mesh). Island Oasis has already been inspected by the US Coast Guard and because of the high standard of original construction (such as fuel tank thickness, doorway and porthole size) she cleared 98% of the 97 pages of requirements required for 12 passengers licensing. If we find our clientele would like the extra passengers we will apply for the licensing, but prices would increase as annual insurance and alcohol license alone will increase approximately $4,000.
Are life jackets available?
We do carry a sufficient number of jackets for all passengers. We only require that children under 13 wear one at all times during the cruise. If you plan on having many children on board, please let us know in advance, so we can have the appropriate sizes available.
What should I wear?
Depending on the time of year, cruises can be either very warm or pretty chilly, but please remember the yacht is fully insulated with a heater and air-conditioning.
June-October
It can be very hot. Sun screen and sunglasses are also very important. The sun can be intense on a sailboat as it is reflected off the water. Required shoes must have a non- scuffing, white or light rubber soles. Flip flops are okay, but for your protection and comfort no high heels or cowboy boots. You may wish to bring binoculars or a camera along.
November-May
Keep in mind that it is often cooler on the water. Dressing in layers is recommended, we always suggest bringing an extra jacket, sweater or sweatshirt.
What if the weather is bad?
We suggest that you monitor the weather forecast a day or so prior to your sail and wear appropriate clothing. Keep in mind that a little fog or cool weather won't keep us from sailing. Safety is a big item with us and we will not sail in unsafe conditions. Cruises are only cancelled due to weather at the captains discretion (mainly due to wind) and will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Can we bring food or is catering available?
Hardy hors d’ourvres and beverages make a nice addition to any sail. Guests are welcomed to bring their own food and beverages. There are kitchen amentities available: refrigerator, freezer, coolers, stove, and oven.
Is there a bathroom on board?
Yes, bathrooms aboard boats are called heads, and there are two fully functional heads complete with running water, T.P, soap and showers.
